So what is shakeology? Shakeology is a meal replacement shake that you can mix with water, soy milk, milk, almond milk, fruit, etc. There are three flavors: Chocolate (my fav), Tropical Strawberry and Greenberry. Beachbody Nutritionals searched the world to find Açai and Goji berries, Camu-Camu, quinoa, wheat grass, Maca root, and sacha inchi (just to name a few) so that you don’t have to. With Shakeology, you truly have a world of nutrition at your fingertips. It provides your body with nutrients that help you maintain healthy body weight, support your immune system and well-being, protect your long-term health, and give you energy. It also is Gluten free and caffeine free, No refined sugars or artificial sweeteners, Provides health-supporting chlorophylls, polyphenols, prebiotics, and proanthocyanins. It only has about 140 calories, 17g of protein, 1g of fat. It has literally balanced my body out, I no longer feel tired or lazy, I am awake and alert right when I wake up. Think about all the processed foods out there, those are not legitimate sources of fuel for your body. We spend so much of our time and money into things such as rent, mortgage, clothes, cars, etc. and we prioritize those things as important. I can't remember a time when I haven't struggled with migraines. I have gone to the hospital, been in bed for days, thrown up, literally not been able to stand up, etc. I have been this way for YEARS.
I finally went to a doctor over a year and a half ago and was put on daily Verapamil. I would take Imitrex on the days that I did get a migraine. The insurance company only allows 9 Imitrex per month though. Every month I would max them out and I would have taken all of them before the month was up. Since taking Shakeology, I have never taken all 9. I ONLY have a migraine when I don't get a good night sleep. I no longer have unexplainable, random migraines.
